The Gainesville Roller Rebels (GRR) will play Tallahassee Capital Punishment Saturday, October 4, 2014. It is the final home bout of GRR’s 2014 season.
The match will take place at the Alachua County Fairgrounds, 3100 N.E. 39th Ave., Gainesville, Fla. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the bout starts at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $8 in advance at BrownPaperTickets.com; Volta Coffee, Tea, and Chocolate; Sweet Dreams Ice Cream; Wild Iris Books; Valkyrie’s Tattoo; or your favorite derby player. Tickets are available at the door for $10. Kids 12 and under get in free.
Local food trucks Heart and Seoul, Kona Ice and GoGo Stuff Yourself will be on site. Spectators will also enjoy family-friendly half-time entertainment from Dr. Sinn’s Freak Island Musical Sideshow.
Come on out! These bouts are SO fun to watch and cheer the home team!
